Darlington PoliceDARLINGTON - Miguel Ortega-Andrade, 33, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance at about 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.Monroe PoliceMONROE - Kyle Scot Peotter, 17, Monroe, was arrested after police responded at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, to a complaint that he used a Sharpie marker to write derogatory messages on the posts and in the rafters of a shelter in Recreation Park, 1700 22nd Ave. Three Monroe children with Peotter - a 13-year-old boy, a 11-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy - were referred to Green County Juvenile Intake for disciplining. Peotter was jailed and faces misdemeanor charges in Green County Circuit Court of graffiti, criminal damage to property, two counts of bail jumping and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. He was released Thursday, July 12, on a $100 cash bond and $900 signature bond, on the conditions that he have no contact with anyone younger than 18 and stay in his home from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. except for work.
