Monroe woman gets two years' probation for embezzlement

MONROE - A woman convicted of embezzling thousands of dollars from the Albany Sports Boosters was sentenced to two years of probation and 100 hours of community service. Sarah K. Mueller, 22, Monroe, pleaded no contest Nov. 19 to two Class A misdemeanor counts of theft, as part of a plea agreement. Judge James Beer also ordered her to pay about $3,300 in restitution, plus court costs, and maintain employment and undergo any recommended counseling.
