New Glarus PoliceNEW GLARUS - An ambulance was dispatched:- At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, May 26, to an unspecified location in the village for a young child having difficulty breathing.- At 2:17 a.m. Sunday, May 27, to an unspecified location in the village to transport a person to an area hospital.NEW GLARUS - A power influx caused by a nearby lightning strike at 2:06 a.m. Saturday, May 26, in turn caused the New Glarus Fire Department's alert siren to sound off and the Glarner Park baseball diamond to light up. A Green County deputy reset the alarm and turned off the ball diamond lights.
