Green County Felonies• The court Wednesday scheduled a June 22 district attorney conference for Ryan A. Smith, 22, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to substantial battery.Court records allege he hit a man, breaking the man's jaw and causing him to fall and hit a kitchen counter Oct. 31 at a residence in Monroe township.He is charged with substantial battery, a class I felony. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.• The court Tuesday sentenced Timothy S. Walls, 30, Albany, to three years probation after he pleaded guilty the burglary.He faced more than 12 years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines for the class F felony.The court dismissed one count of theft, a class A misdemeanor. He originally faced more than 13 years in prison and up to $35,000 in fines.Court records indicate he entered a storage garage Dec. 6 in Albany.Misdemeanors• The court Thursday sentenced Orrin H. Marsden, 18, Monroe, to seven months in jail with 87 days credit after he pleaded no contest to bail jumping.He faced up to nine months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for the class A misdemeanor.Court records indicate he had a smoking device in his pocket while on probation Nov. 25 in Monroe.• The court Tuesday entered into an 18-month deferred prosecution agreement with Joshua M. Walker, 25, Albany, who pleaded no contest to criminal damage to property and trespassing.He faced up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 in fines for the class A misdemeanors.
