GREEN COUNTYFelonies• The court on Sept. 9 entered a not guilty plea and scheduled a Nov. 17 district attorney conference for Charles B. Loeffelholz Jr., 26, Brooklyn, who stood mute to substantial battery and disorderly conduct.Court records allege he hit a man in the face and broke a bone July 4 in Jordan township. He attacked the man a second time after he was subdued.He is charged with substantial battery, a class I felony, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $4,000 signature bond.Misdemeanors• The court on Sept. 8 sentenced Douglas W. Axelson, 23, Brodhead, to 18 months probation after he pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia.He faced up to 30 days in jail and up to $500 for the unclassified misdemeanor.The court dismissed one count of possession of marijuana, a class I felony.
