Green County MISDEMEANORS Olivia J. Erickson, 21, Argyle, pleaded no contest Thursday, June 21, to a Class A misdemeanor charge of writing four worthless checks totaling $242.15 to Cenex Southern Wisconsin Co-op in Monroe in April 2011. She was granted a one-year deferred prosecution on the conditions that she pay restitution of $242.15 in monthly installments of $35, plus court costs of $243, attend monitoring conferences, complete and pay for a $76 financial counseling course through the Green County Check Offender Program and not open any checking account without first notifying the district attorney and agreeing to provide a monthly bank statement. Carleton Edward Williams, 31, Brodhead, made his initial appearance in court Wednesday, June 20, on misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct.
