Green County Felonies• The court Thursday scheduled a Nov. 18 district attorney conference for Nolan S. Vancourt, 23, Monroe, who is charged with choking and pushing a woman.Court records allege he pushed and choked a woman Oct. 1 in Monroe.He is charged with two counts of strangulation and suffocation, both class H felonies; two counts of battery, both class A misdemeanors; and one count of disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than 13 years in prison and up to $41,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $4,800 signature bond and a $200 cash bond.• The court Wednesday scheduled an Oct. 21 district attorney conference for Arturo Y. Alonso-Flores, 23, Monroe, who is charged with choking a woman.Court records allege he choked a woman, causing nausea, a sore throat and blurred vision, and pushed and hit a woman Sept. 26 in Washington township.He is charged with strangulation and suffocation, a class H felony; battery, a class A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to seven years in prison and up to $21,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $3,000 cash bond.Misdemeanors• The court Wednesday sentenced Richard C. Tranel, 84, Monroe to 47 days in jail with 47 days credit after he pleaded no contest to bail jumping.He faced up to nine months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for the class A misdemeanor.The court dismissed one count of bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor; and one count of disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.
