Green CountyFelonies• The court Tuesday sentenced Loren J. Olson Jr., 42, Brodhead, to six months in jail and ordered him to pay $2,665 in fines after he pleaded no contest to bail jumping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly conduct.He faced up to seven years in prison and up to $21,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class H felony, class A misdemeanor and class B misdemeanor.The court dismissed one count of second degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of felon in possession of a firearm, both class G felonies, one count of bail jumping, a class H felony, and one count of obstructing an officer and one count of operating a firearm while intoxicated, both class A misdemeanors. He originally faced more than 33 years in prison and up to $101,000 in fines.Court records indicate Olson threatened three people Jan. 6 at a Sylvester township residence. While on bond he drank alcohol Sept. 16 in Brodhead and also encouraged a juvenile, who was also on bond for a separate case, to drink alcohol in April.Misdemeanors• The court Tuesday sentenced Sean M. Waterman, 28, Monroe, to nine months in jail after he pleaded no contest to battery and obstructing an officer.He faced up to one year in jail and up to $11,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class A misdemeanors.The court dismissed one count of bail jumping and criminal damage to property, both class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.
