GREEN COUNTY FELONIES• The court Friday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a July 21 district attorney conference for Michael E. Hoffman, 23, Monroe, who stood mute to charges related to a dispute at a Monroe business.Court records allege he refused to leave Flanagan's Shenanigans, struggled with officers and swung his elbow to hit an officer March 14. He was convicted of substantial battery in Dane County in 2008.He is charged with attempted battery, a class H felony, resisting an officer, a class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor, all as a repeat offender. He faces more than 11 years in prison and up to $16,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.In a second case, the court entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a July 21 district attorney conference after Hoffman stood mute to drunken driving and bail jumping charges.Court records allege he was driving while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration April 3 on Mount Hope Road in Spring Grove township.
