Green County Felonies• The court Wednesday sentenced Larry J. Martin Jr., 27, Monroe, to 18 months in prison and two years extended supervision after he pleaded no contest to battery charges.Martin faced more than 10 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines as apart of the plea agreements for two felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. He pleaded no contest to battery to a police officer, a class H felony, substantial battery, a class I felony, and battery, a class A misdemeanor.The court dismissed one count of battery to a police officer, a class H felony, three counts of criminal damage to property, trespassing and resisting an officer, all class A misdemeanors and two counts of disorderly conduct as part of the plea agreement. He originally faced more than 30 years in prison and more than $100,000 in fines.Court records indicate he entered two residences Jan. 12 and punched two people, breaking one person's nose, and also head-butted a police officer at the Green County Jail.
