GREEN COUNTY FELONIESSteven Michael Steiner, 49, Monroe, was granted an 18-month deferred prosecution Thursday, July 5, on several felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from accusations that he kicked and broke a door at a residence and taunted a woman inside in the 2000 block of 9th Street in February 2011, that he caused an injury to the same woman during a domestic dispute in December at the same residence, and that he violated a no-contact rule by visiting the same residence in January. He is ordered to undergo counseling and mental health treatment, attend monitoring conferences and pay the court a total of $878. An October charge was dismissed against Steiner of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.MISDEMEANORSPedro Diaz Xoyatla, 27, Monroe, was granted a one-year stay of proceedings Tuesday, July 3, on misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct.
