LAFAYETTE COUNTY FELONIES • Douglas J. Forbes Jr., 23, Platteville, was charged Monday with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor operating while revoked after a June 15 incident in which police saw him driving near the Belmont Village Office, 222 S. Mound Ave., and arrested him. Police noted in their report that they recognized Forbes from past contacts and knew his license was revoked. The bail-jumping charge stems from Forbes allegedly having contact with Breanna Becker, who was riding in his car.
