Green County Felonies• The court Wednesday scheduled a July 29 arraignment for Wade H. Gombar, 46, Stoughton, who is charged with theft and forgery.Court records allege he received about $154,000 from a New Glarus couple to make improvements to their property and kept about $28,000 between Dec. 5, 2005 and Jan. 29, 2006. The court also alleges he forged forms and was able to obtain $7,850 because of the false documents.He is charged with theft, a class G felony, and two counts of forgery and one count of theft, all class H felonies. He faces up to 28 years in prison and up to $55,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $4,000 signature bond.• The court Wednesday scheduled a plea/sentencing hearing for Robert J. Sanders, 19, Freeport, Ill., who is charged with forgery, contributing to the delinquency of a child and theft.Court records allege he wrote a check from another person's account and encouraged a 14-year-old to help him Jan. 16 at a Monroe business.He is charged with forgery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, both class H felonies, and attempted theft, a class A misdemeanor.
