Green County Felonies• Benjamin R. Normington, 21, Brodhead, remains free on a $1,500 signature bond after making his initial appearance Monday for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.Court records indicate he had marijuana, a smoking pipe and rolling papers in his possession Jan. 5 in Monroe township.He is charged with possession of marijuana, a class I felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and more than $10,000 in fines, if convicted.His preliminary hearing is Feb. 12.• Jessie L. Hanson, 26, Monroe, is scheduled to make her initial appearance Feb. 4 for forgery and theft.Court records indicate she cashed an $800 check from another person's account Nov. 8 at the Wisconsin Community Bank.She is charged with forgery, a class H felony, and theft, a class A misdemeanor. She faces more than six years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.Misdemeanors• The court Monday entered into a deferred prosecution agreement Monday with Alexander C. Webb, 22, Juda, who pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct charges.He faced up the three months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines as part of the agreement for the class B misdemeanor.The court will dismiss the charge in one year if he complies with the terms of the agreement.The court dismissed a second count of disorderly conduct.He originally faced up to six months in jail and up to $2,000 in fines.Court records indicate he hit a man Sept. 8 in Brodhead.• The court Monday scheduled a Feb. 19 district attorney conference and entered a plea of not guilty for Kathleen L. Venn, 45, Monroe, who stood mute to a charge of disorderly conduct.Court records indicate she yelled and slapped a man Nov. 4 in Monroe.She is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.
