Green CountyFelonies• The court Thursday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a Feb. 11 plea/sentencing hearing for Aaron L. Frayer, 42, Janesville, who stood mute to charges of battery, false imprisonment, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.Court records allege he hit a woman three times, causing a concussion, blocked and locked the door to prevent her from leaving and pulled a knife from a sheath in his belt, barricaded himself in a room and struggled with officers when taken into custody Jan. 12 in Brodhead.He is charged with false imprisonment, a class H felony, substantial battery, a class I felony, battery and resisting an officer, both class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than 10 years in prison and up to $41,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains jailed on a $1,500 cash bond.Misdemeanors• The court Monday scheduled a March 2 district attorney conference for Daniel B. Marchant, 31, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to four counts of intentional abuse of a hazardous material.Court records allege he inhaled a substance from a can Nov. 26, twice on Dec. 26 and again on Dec. 28 in Monroe.He is charged with four counts of intentional abuse of a hazardous material, all class A misdemeanors. He faces up to three years in jail and up to $40,000 in fines, if convicted.He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.In a second case, the court scheduled a March 2 district attorney conference for Marchant after he pleaded not guilty to driving a vehicle without the owner's consent.Court records allege he took a vehicle and drove it around before abandoning it within 24 hours Dec. 22 in Monroe.He is charged with driving a vehicle without the owner's consent, a class A misdemeanor.
