Green County Felonies• The court Wednesday scheduled an April 14 sentencing hearing for Rodney R. Arnsmeier, 50, Brodhead, who pleaded no contest to drunken driving fifth- or sixth-offense.He faces up to six years in prison for the class H felony.The court dismissed one count of driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, fifth- or sixth-offense, also a class H felony. He originally faced up to 12 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines.Court records indicate he was intoxicated while driving Aug. 13 on Mount Hope Road in Spring Grove township.In a second case, the court scheduled an April 14 sentencing hearing after Arnsmeier pleaded no contest to driving an all-terrain vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration.He faces up to six months in jail and up to $1,100 in fines for the unclassified misdemeanor.The court dismissed one count of bail jumping, a class H felony, and driving an ATV under the influence of alcohol, an unclassified misdemeanor. He originally faced up to seven years in prison and up to $12,200 in fines.Court records indicate he was driving an ATV while intoxicated Aug. 15 on Mount Hope Road in Spring Grove township.• The court Tuesday sentenced Gary A. Smith, 43, Janesville, to one year in prison after revoking his probation for forgery.He faced up to six years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines for the class H felony.Court records indicate he was convicted of forgery in 2007.
