GREEN COUNTY FELONIES • Randy Thomas Kruser, 50, Monroe, was sentenced to 40 days in jail and fined $6,576 on Tuesday after pleading guilty to a Class G felony charge of receiving stolen property. The charge stems from a period in March 2013 when Kruser, with the aid of an accomplice (Brett Lee Niemann, 22, Monticello), stole more than $10,000 worth of equipment from their employer, Monroe Truck Equipment Inc. After unwittingly purchasing some of the stolen equipment via the website Craigslist, a buyer became suspicious and contacted police to confirm whether the equipment was sold legally. It wasn't.
