Green CountyFelonies• The court Aug. 24 sentenced Cody J. Vavra, 18, Monroe, to one year probation and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement after he pleaded guilty to burglary and criminal damage to property.He faced more than 13 years in prison and up to $35,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class F felony and class A misdemeanor.The court will dismiss the burglary charge if he complies with the terms of the agreement.He also must pay $519 in restitution and serve 80 hours of community service.Court records indicate he tried to break into the concession stand at Twining Park May 22. He kicked the door and caused damage to the building.• The court Aug. 26 entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled an Oct. 20 district attorney conference for Cory L. Rodebaugh, 25, Brodhead, who stood mute to physical abuse of a child and disorderly conduct.Court records allege he hit a child with a toy guitar Aug. 6 or Aug. 7 and threatened a man Aug. 7. The incidents took place in a Decatur township residence.
