Bevins receives 14 days in jail, 2 years probation

MONROE - A Monroe teenager convicted of burglarizing a garage was sentenced Wednesday to two years of probation and 14 days in jail. Tyler D. Bevins, 18, is also ordered to get his high school diploma, undergo an assessment for alcohol or other drug abuse and obtain and maintain employment. He is fined a total of $518 in court and probation costs, including a $250 DNA test fee.
