70-juror pool selected for trial

MONROE - Final deadlines for filing motions and jury instructions have been set in the case of a Monroe man, accused of repeatedly sexual assaulting a teen, whom he later adopted.James M. Norquay, 49, did not appeared in court Monday. But his attorney Eric Schulenburg, along with Assistant Attorney General Dennis Krueger, who is prosecuting the case for Green County, appeared before Green County Circuit Judge Thomas Vale, via telephone.A motion deadline was set to review the case prior to trial, scheduled to begin Nov. 14. Any motions filed by the attorneys are due prior to the review hearing, set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 20, when Vale plans to review them.
