Scott E. Abraham, age 69 of Monroe, died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Monroe Hospice Home. He was born on March 16, 1955 in Orangeville, IL, the son of Gerald and Mae (Krupke) Abraham. He was a 1974 graduate of Orangeville High School. Scott was united in marriage to Judy L. Booth on June 25, 1977 in Monroe. 

After high school, Scott joined the family business, Abe’s Plumbing, where he worked for many years. He later changed careers and worked for Midax Software Co. for 14 years, retiring in January of 2024. In his younger days, he enjoyed racing snowmobiles in the U.S. and Sweden and was ranked nationally. He enjoyed W.W. II history, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Judy of Monroe; daughters, Kristi (Daniel) Magee of Bellbrook, OH and Traci (Richard) Anderegg of Columbus, WI; grandchildren: Jacob and Mitchel Magee, Kiley Duffy, Leah Wickler, and Max Wickler. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2-5 PM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. Memorials may be given in Scott’s memory to the Green County Humane Society.
