Mary E. Boll, age 83 of Monroe, went to work in God’s garden
on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. She was born on February 12, 1935
in Monroe, the daughter of Joseph and Lillian (Lehmann) Jaeggi. She graduated
from Juda High School in 1953 and married Thomas R. Boll on February 10, 1957. She
was a farm wife, cook at Dutch’s Inn and Lee’s Gaslight and later worked as a
housekeeper for American Inn. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking and baking
and enjoyed large family dinners; but her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by her children: Julie (Michael) Miller of Monroe, Jeanne (Duane) Meier of Monticello, Jayne Butts of Monroe, Tom (Darci) Boll of Monroe, and Jenifer (Rob) Warrell of New Glarus; grandchildren: Bryan (fiancé Jenessa Anderson) Miller, Erinn (Garrett) Mueller, Jenna (Dave) Payne, Jodi (Andrew) Houlberg, Jessica (Eric) Gorius, David (fiancé Tiffany Golackson) Meier, Tommy (Liberty) Butts, Courtney Jackson, Caitlyn Jackson, Brett Warrell and Brooke Warrell; 10 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; brothers: Joe “Sep” (Dorothy) Jaeggi of Mauston and Jim (Julie) Jaeggi of Browntown; sister, Liz (Russ) Quinn of Monticello; sisters-in-law, Annette Jaeggi of Twin Grove and Barbara Rockey of Juda. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, John “Hans” Jaeggi.
A Memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Monroe United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Booth officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday from 10 A.M until time of service, at the church. SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home is assisting the family.
