Marion Portman age 78 of Monroe passed away in her home on January 25, 2022 with family by her side Marion was born April 17, 1943 one of three to Mary in Walter Shirley in New Diggins, Wisconsin.

Marion married Antone Portman February 2, 1966 in Monroe Wisconsin. She was a loving mother, and grandmother, beloved wife, and homemaker as well as working outside the family home.

She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose, Monroe chapter and she had many fond memories of going to the Moose Lodge, and seeing everyone she enjoyed playing cards doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Daniel Shirley, loving husband of 49 years, Antone Portman, parents Mary and Walter Shirley, her triplet sisters Margaret Olson and Mary Alexander.

She is survived by her children, Duane Portman of Monroe, Evelyn Stencil of Evansville, and Tony Portman the third of Monroe, and Hilda (Kendall) Baumgartner of Monticello, plus numerous grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5th, 2022, time 12 noon at Grace Bifulk Funeral Home, 203 West Nichols Street, Albany, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Monticello, Wisconsin.
