Larry Ray Mau, age 74, passed away on June 14, 2023, in Cocoa, Florida after a short illness. He was born July 14, 1949 to Geneva and William Mau. He graduated from South Wayne High School, after high school he attended UW Madison, after college he joined the Army. On April 15, 1980 he married the love of his life Betty Long.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty, step-son Michael Long, brother Tom (Carol) Mau of Lena, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry (Izabelle), Buddy (Joyce) Mau, who raised him, sisters Shelby (Donald) Broge, Audrey (Merle) Adelman.

There will be a burial on October 14, 2023 in South Wayne Union Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. and then a celebration of life following at the Vault in South Wayne.
