Judith Kay Heitz, 76, of Rockford, died Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Judith was born October 2, 1942 in Freeport, the daughter of Milo and Genevieve (Stevens) Sigafus. She married William Heitz June 15, 1996. Judith was a spitfire and she always told it like it was, no matter what! She was a hard worker and longtime employee of Advance Transformer in Monroe. Judith had a heart of gold. She was a lover of elderly people and always put others before herself. Judith loved gardening and growing vegetables and then would give them to friends and loved ones.

Surviving are her sons, Marc “Kojack” Busch of Darlington, WI, Doug (Kim) Busch of Juda, WI., Joe (Cindy) Fuchs of Livingston, WI, and Jack (Rhonda) Fuchs of Wiota, WI; sisters, Pat (Elton) Seffrood of Monroe, WI, and Leila (Jim) Dietmeier of Grey Cliff, MT., sister-in-law, Sharon Sigafus of Gratiot, WI.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  

Judith was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herbert ‘Herbie” Sigafus.

Services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday October 13, 2018 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Pastor Traci Maas will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs.
