Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Pickett, age 64 of rural Argyle, WI passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at SSM-St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born May 19, 1959, in Monroe, Wi the son of Dean and Carol (Dovre) Pickett. He was born and raised in rural Darlington, WI and graduated from Argyle High School. He spent most of his working years working as a hired hand.

Jeff is survived by his mother: Carol Pickett of Darlington, WI; one brother: Brian Pickett of Blanchardville, WI; two sisters: Marsha Keller of Clinton, WI and Heather (Donald) Blosch of Shullsburg, WI; and his nieces and nephews: Seth (Ann) Keller of Clinton, WI, Sarah (Jacob) England of White House, TN, Conrad Blosch of Sun Prairie, WI, Curtis Blosch of Darlington, Catie and Callie Blosch of Shullsburg. He was preceded in death by his father: Dean Pickett in 1997; his brother: Gregory Pickett in 2022; paternal grandparents: Bernard and Margaret Pickett; maternal grandparents: Albert and Mabel Dovre; and one brother-in-law: Martin Keller.

Jeff enjoyed playing cards, collecting baseball and football trading cards and watching sports and Westerns on TV. He also liked taking the occasional trip to the casino and scratch off lottery tickets. He cherished the time he spent with his family creating memories they will all remember forever.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle) with Rev. Kate Kieckhafer of Grace Lutheran Church in Darlington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Argyle. A visitation will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle.
