Jane Wyss, age 77 of Monroe, died Saturday June 24, 2023 at Monroe Health Services. She was born on January 13, 1946 in Carthage, New York, the daughter of Charles and Rose (Lattremore) Monahan. She graduated from Augastine Academy High School in Carthage, NY. Jane married Marvin L. Wyss on September 11, 1965 in Carthage, NY. She farmed with her husband for many years and also worked at Thermos in Freeport and later worked at Swiss Colony. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, watching the Brewers and the Packers; she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

     She is survived by her children: Pam (Dennis) Goelzer of KY, Michele (Rod) Hesgard of Monroe, Brian Wyss of Monroe, Greg (Nicole) Wyss of Monroe, twins, Debra Wyss of WI and Matthew Wyss of Janesville; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Monahan of Rochester, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Albert and a grandson, Joseph.

     Private services will be held. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
