James “Jim” A. Foesch

 James “Jim” A. Foesch, age 73, of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Rockford. He was born on November 20, 1944 the son of Carl and Adeline (Sandley) Foesch in Monroe. Jim was a 1963 graduate of Monroe High School and also attended Tech School for two years. He was united in marriage to Trish Graham on May 19, 2017. Though married only a short time, they enjoyed seven fun-filled years together.

Jim proudly served in the US Air Force. He worked for Sandia National Laboratories as a technologist in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 30 years, until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed watching the Packers and the Thursday early morning coffee group (ROTC) at the Double B Restaurant in Beloit.

Jim is survived by his wife, Trish of Rockford; four children, Pamela (Toon) Foesch of the Netherlands, Cassandra Bayer of Berlin, Germany, Laura (Carl) Anderson of Rio Rancho, NM, and Melissa (Rob) Miglionico of Texas; three grandsons; three granddaughters; brother, Carl Foesch, sister, Gail Gille; and sister-in-law, Carol Foesch.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Greg, Bill, and David Foesch; sister, Elsie Meier; brother-in-law, Roger Gille; and sister-in-law, Judy Foesch.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home, located at the intersection of 18th Ave. and Mansion Dr. with Jim’s son-in-law, Carl Anderson officiating. Burial will follow service in Greenwood Cemetery.
