Harold Louis “Tiny” Heindel age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1945 to Edward and Vera (Wernicke) Heindel at Freeport Memorial Hospital.
He graduated from Warren High School in 1963. After which he farmed with is Dad until his father’s passing then continued farming until retiring. He worked for various agencies in Lafayette County transporting to and from doctor appointment. He liked his Green Bay Packers and was involved in Tug of War for over 40 years starting with Monroe Machine and Welding Tug of War Team and then the United States Amateur Tug of War Association. He highly enjoyed travelling when he was an International Judge for the Tug of War International Federation. After retiring he became the Chief Judge for the US Association up until last year.
He is survived by his brother Larry Heindel on Monroe. He has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward and mother Vera Heindel.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.
Private Family Funeral Service to be held.
Officiating will be Pastor Roger Bronkema
Internment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery
