Friedrich W. Ringhand III, age 65 passed away on December 30, 2022, after a heroic battle against cancer, at his home with his family at his side. He was born January 31st, 1957, in Prairie Du Sac, the son of Maurice and Mary Louise (Wood) Ringhand. Fred graduated from Albany High School. He joined the United States Army and served for four years. Then, he decided to become a taxidermist, which he did through the John Rinehart School of Taxidermy. He joined the trades to become a cement finisher. He retired in 2019 to fully enjoy his passions of hunting and fishing, family, and friends. He is survived by his best friend, Wilson, ex-wife M. Debbie Farris, his sons, Zane, Zachary, and Fred Ringhand IV. His brothers, Philip, and John Ringhand. One nephew Izzy (Debbie) Zurfluh, Cousin Sherry and Auntie Eunice Wood. Also survived by many in-laws, dear friends made through his lifetime. Fred’s family wants to give sincere thanks to the St. Croix Hospice team for their compassionate care. Also, thanks to all his care teams at the Madison VA Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held January 29th, 2023, time 1:00 p.m. at the McDermott-Steindorf American Legion, Albany, Wisconsin.
