Edward Wallace Crook Jr. age 60 died Monday October 8 at home. He was born on April 15, 1958 in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, the son of Edward Wallace Crook Sr. and Shirley Nan Hall.
Ed worked in Emergency Services for most of his life and as an instructor for first responders, EMT basic and Intermediate EMT in Green County and Iowa. He served as a Paramedic in Iowa, North Carolina and Wisconsin. He was a member of Green County EMS and volunteer of Life saving and Rescue in North Carolina and worked as a 911 operator in Rutherfordton N.C. Ed’s life passion was Emergency Services and helping people. He loved his family and his EMS family he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Grace of Evansville, two sons; Adam Edward Crook of Evansville and Jonathon David Crook of Madison, three sisters; Donna Moore of Nebo N.C., Kay Davis of Forrest City N.C., Kelly Bradley of Gilkey N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law Jimmy Davis. A celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home 130 South Fifth Street Evansville WI.
