Bonnie K. Moser, age 71, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the SSM Health Monroe Hospice Home peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 18, 1952 the daughter of Leo and Kathryn (Schmelzer) Niesman. Bonnie graduated from Brodhead High School and went on to receive her associates degree from Blackhawk Technical College. She married Jim Moser on August 13, 1977 in New Glarus, WI.
Bonnie proudly served her country in the Army National Guard and later with the Army Reserves; retiring after 27 years with a rank of Sargant Major. She was also the executive director for the WI National Guard Enlisted Association. Bonnie was the manager of the Green County DHIA. She enjoyed fishing with her siblings and their families. As a member of the Apparitions M.C., she enjoyed riding her motorcycle and taking trips with Jim.
Bonnie is survived by husband, Jim of Monroe; brother, Randy (Melody) Niesman of Westboro, WI; nieces, nephews, many brothers and sisters-in-law; extended relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathy Schafer and Charlene in infancy; and brother, Dan Niesman.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Noon 12:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the American Legion Post 84.
