MONROE - Two people were arrested Wednesday following an investigation into four Monroe burglaries.
Rachel M. Kubly, 20, Monroe, was charged with multiple counts of receiving stolen property.
Kubly was jailed pending court.
A 16-year-old Monroe man was charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of theft, and three counts of criminal damage to property. He was referred to juvenile authorities and released to his parents.
The pair were arrested after police executed a search warrant at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1122 25th Ave.
Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley said police were acting on information from an investigation.
Kelley said the two were arrested in connection to burglaries at The Dilly Bean, Parkside Salon and the concession stand at the Monroe High School football field during the evening Sunday, and one residential burglary last summer in the 1400 block of Mansion Drive.
Kelley said cash and valuables were taken during the burglaries. Other suspects have been identified and the investigation continues, Kelley said.
