Tom Chapin to play Monroe stage

MONROE - A limited number of reserved seat tickets are still available for the 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 9, performance of Grammy award winner singer and songwriter, Tom Chapin.

With a career that spans Broadway, TV, documentary and feature films, the concert stage, and over 20 recordings and hundreds of songs in his repertoire, Chapin serves up a remarkable mix of story songs, ballads, comedic, and political songs, family music, sing-alongs, old-time folk classics, and a favorite song or two of his late brother Harry's.

Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo and autoharp. And Chapin will be joined on the stage by extraordinary musicians, and longtime band members, Jon Cobert and Michael Mark.
