MONROE - Monroe school administrators will be getting a 3.2 percent raise next year.

The Monroe school board unanimously approved the raises after meeting in closed session Monday. The increase will mean the district will spend $1,430,905 on salary and benefits for the district's 11 administrative positions, an increase of $44,116 from this year. That translates to about $130,00 per administrator for salary and benefits.

The increase is for the 2008-2009 school year, which begins July 1.
