Crews working on 8 1/2 Street in Monroe had to halt their roadwork around 10 a.m. on Aug. 17 after hitting an unmarked line. Work on the street has been ongoing throughout the summer, and the plan is to have the street repaved and ready for traffic before school begins at the end of the month.
