MONROE - Green County Leaders is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in learning, self-discovery, community issues and networking to join the Green County Leaders class of 2015-16. Application forms, and more information about the program, is available at www.greencountyleaders.com or at the Green County UW-Extension office, 2841 6th St.
Applications will be accepted until July 31. Scholarships are available to assist with tuition for qualifying participants.
Green County Leaders is an education program designed to help build community leadership. Participants meet one day per month for nine months. Programs focus on building community leadership skills and raising awareness of community issues, including local government, healthcare, economic development and education.
