Quilters club to meet April 15
Community Brief

FORRESTON  — For the Country Crossroads Quilt Guild program on Monday April 15, Rhonda Streich from Sassy Farm Chicks Quilt Company in Orfordville will present. She is an avid collector and maker of all quilt types.

Streich will present a program on “Eras in American Quilting.” She will show quilts from each era in American quilt history and share their stories. Guild members and guests are encouraged to bring any antique or vintage quilts you might like to share, and we can discuss the history of these quilts also. The program will be followed by refreshments, a business meeting, and Show ’n Tell.

Guild meetings are held on the third Monday of each month (except December) at 7 p.m. at the Forreston Grove Church, 7246 Freeport Road; Forreston, IL. There is ample time to meet and greet members before the meeting. Visitors are welcome; for visitors there is a fee of $5 at the door. Membership dues are $20.
