MONROE - As part of their "Resources for Business" series, the Green County Area Entrepreneurs and Inventors will host its fifth program, "Banking for My New Business," from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., June 6, at First National Bank and Trust.

Woodford State Bank representatives, Nikki Matley and Jason Kundert will explore ways that banks can assist existing businesses and entrepreneurs.

Matley is the director of marketing and business development and Jason is vice president of commercial lending.

"Banks have money to lend", said Matley, in a press release. "So we want to talk to business owners to explain to them how to accept the funding available."

The meeting will be held at First National Bank and Trust's lower level conference room, 1625 10th St., and is free and open to the public.

In addition to the speaker and topic, those attending will have time to introduce themselves and share a little about themselves and their invention, business or business idea.

Attendees are urged to bring business cards and network with other inventors and entrepreneurs.
