MONROE - An Oregon man was killed Wednesday in a one-vehicle rollover crash in which the driver was cited for drunk driving.
The victim, Dylan J. Anderson, 21, was pronounced dead at a Dane County hospital after a truck in which he was a passenger overturned on County E, Town of Albany.
The crash was reported at 3:15 a.m. after the driver, Brett A. Luetenegger, 21, Oregon, apparently left the road on County E and entered a ditch, where it overturned several times. When Green County deputies arrived on scene, all people involved in the crash had left the scene.
Anderson had been transported to a Dane County hospital, while Luetenegger was located by Oregon police and was transported to a local hospital. Luetenegger was also cited for driving while intoxicated.
The crash remains under investigation by the Green County Sheriff's Department.
This is Green County's third fatal crash of 2016.
