BRODHEAD - Closure of three streets in Brodhead is expected to last about two weeks this month while railroad crossings are repaired.

Railroad crossings on West 2nd, West 4th and West 5th Avenues will be closed to traffic, according to the Brodhead Police Department.

The Wisconsin and Southern Railroad is conducting general repairs that are slated to begin Thursday, Oct. 4.

The street closures are expected to last through Tuesday, Oct. 16.

During construction, police are encouraging drivers to use alternate routes.
