Monroe Public Library to host 'Extreme Weather' May 4

MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host "Extreme Weather - A program for all ages" at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4 in the library's second-floor meeting room.

Ben Burkel, a meteorologist with WKOW Channel 27, will present the interactive program about extreme weather, which includes a discussion of lightning and tornado safety.

The program is free and no pre-registration is required.
