DARLINGTON - State Rep. Howard Marklein, R-Spring Green, has announced that Darlington will be a location for one of four listening sessions the lawmaker is planning across the 51st Assembly District.
The Darlington session will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Lafayette County Courthouse, 626 Main St., Darlington.
"I am looking forward to hearing opinions from my constituents about the proposed budget," Marklein said, in a statement announcing the event. "The budget is a fluid and changing process; I want to keep my constituents updated with any changes to the proposed budget. This is a good opportunity for me to connect with my constituents and make sure they are informed about what we are debating in Madison."
