TOWN OF ADAMS — An Argyle man faces a felony fifth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after a hit-and-run with a tractor Nov. 3, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Office.
Randy Dave Hendrickson, 60, was eastbound in the W8900 block of Puddledock Road in the Town of Adams when his SUV hit a westbound tractor. He then drove off.
Deputies were called to the scene at 6:25 p.m. and later located Hendrickson at his home in Argyle. A Lafayette County deputy assisted with finding Hendrickson.
Neither Hendrickson nor the tractor operator, 16-year-old Blake J. McNett of Argyle, were injured. The SUV and tractor sustained functional damage.
Hendrickson was jailed on the felony OWI and cited for hit-and-run and failure to notify police of an accident. He was released on a $3,000 signature bond and is due back in court Dec. 17 for a preliminary hearing.
State court records show he was convicted of his fourth offense of OWI in Dane County in 2008, for which he paid a fine and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
