MAC Youth art class back
Monroe Arts Center mac

MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center’s popular Youth Art Class is back to in-person learning on Friday afternoons. This class allows kids to learn, challenge themselves, and express their own individuality while expanding their artistic skills.

In this art program, students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can continue to build their lifelong discovery, exploration, and appreciation of the arts. During each of the six sessions, art instructor Lisa Beach will provide lessons in various aspects of art and art techniques. She will guide students through each project, while instilling creativity and expanding the imaginations of budding artists.

MAC requires all of the young artists to show proof of vaccination prior to the first class, and wear a mask over their nose and mouth while in the building. MAC will also be practicing social distancing inside the classroom, and each artist will be spaced accordingly.

This six-week session will begin Jan. 21, 2022 and continue through Feb. 25, 2022 from 1:30-3 p.m. Registration for the class ends on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at 5 p.m.
