MONROE - Downtown Monroe business will be collecting food for the local food pantry next weekend. Various promotions at participating businesses also are being offered as part of the "Egg-citement on the Square" collection effort.
Businesses that will be collecting non-perishable food as part of the event, from April 21 to April 23, include: Europa, Nancy's, Kidz Kloset, das Baumhaus, House to Home, The Green Door, The Garden Deli, Luecke's Diamond Center, and Wildflower Collectibles.
