MONROE — On Saturday, Oct. 20:

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 12:26 p.m. in the Town of Cadiz. Amy L. Christen, 36, Monticello, was westbound on Wis. 11 when she slowed to turn south onto Allen Road and was rear-ended by Taylor K. Rupnow, 23, Gratiot. Christen’s vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment and was driven from the scene. The airbags deployed in Rupnow’s vehicle, and it was towed due to disabling damage. The Monroe Police Department, Green County EMS and Browntown Fire Department assisted on scene.

●  Sarah R. Topp, 30, Monroe, reported no injuries from a dog vs. vehicle collision at 8:14 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22. The accident had occurred at about 6:10 a.m. that morning in the W6500 block of County B, Town of Clarno. Topp was eastbound when a dog entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. The dog died. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  A vehicle vs. horse collision was reported in the Town of Spring Grove at 6:48 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24. Adam D. Russell, 27, Davis, Illinois, was northbound on County G near the intersection with Giese Road when a horse entered the roadway and collided with the front of his vehicle. Russell reported injuries but EMS was not called to the scene. The horse was killed in the collision. Russell’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front and top and was towed. He was cited for an expired vehicle registration. The owner of the horse, Paul D. Zimmerman, 42, Brodhead, removed the animal and was subsequently cited for causing a public nuisance with an animal.
