DARLINGTON — On Friday, Oct. 12:

●  Robin L. Ortman, 59, Warren, reported hitting a deer at 7:13 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton. No injuries were reported. Ortman’s 2017 Jeep sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  A deputy responded to a one-vehicle accident with no reported injuries at 9:39 p.m. on Blackhawk Road, Town of White Oak Springs. Corey R. Gleason, 19, Cuba City, was westbound in his 2003 Chevrolet when he failed to stop at a stop sign, went through the intersection and came to rest in a cornfield. He was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without vehicle insurance, driving without a valid license, possessing marijuana and falsifying an accident report.

On Saturday, Oct. 13:

●  Rachel A. Gallagher, 25, Warren, reported hitting a deer at 7:13 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello. No injuries were reported. Her 2007 Pontiac sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.


Monroe Police

MONROE — A minor injury was reported but EMS transport declined following a two-vehicle crash in the 2800 block of 6th Street at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10. Virginie H. Wiesman, 49, Monroe, attempted to pass another vehicle on the right as the driver, a 72-year-old Monroe woman, turned into a driveway. Wiesman’s vehicle struck the other vehicle, and both vehicles sustained moderate to severe damage. Wiesman was cited for illegally passing on the right.
