Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 9:52 a.m. March 5 on County E and County C, Town of Brooklyn. Randall J. Schoonover, 31, Evansville, was northbound on County E when he failed to stop at the stop sign and hit a vehicle operated by Tanya J. Lawson, 28 Janesville. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. Both were towed. Schoonover was cited for failure to stop at stop sign. Albany EMS and Albany Fire Department assisted. 

 

Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — On March 3: 

●  Carol C. Ruegsegger, 64, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 8:02 p.m. on County N, Town of Wayne. Her 2010 Buick sustained moderate damage. 

●  Charmel R. Sutter, 66, Monroe, reported hitting a deer at 6:10 p.m. March 4 on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. The vehicle sustained severe damage. It was towed. 

●  Jessica L. Wilson, 38, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 7:33 p.m. March 6 on Coulthard Lane, Town of Benton. Her vehicle sustained minor damage. 

On March 14:

●  Kent W McConnell, 68, Darlington reported striking a deer on Wis. 81, Darlington Township at 7:37 a.m. McConnell’s 2019 Jeep received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  At 2:01 p.m., deputies responded to Red Rock Rd, Darlington Township for an accident. Dennis J Allendorf, 71, Shullsburg was traveling on Red Rock Rd, when turning a corner, the machinery he was hauling via semi, tipped off the semi-trailer into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Al’s Towing and Guy’s Towing assisted on scene.

●  At 7:50 p.m., Kimberly R Haynes, 42, Argyle reported striking a deer on Wis. 78, Wiota Township. Haynes’ 2019 Jeep received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

●  At 10:21 p.m., Cheryl L Mosley, 68, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH F, Elk Grove Township.  Mosley’s 2017 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
