MONROE — A two-vehicle accident was reported at 10:58 a.m. June 2 in the 1700 block of 6th Street. John K. Hocking, 48, Darlington, was backing out of a business parking lot when he hit an eastbound vehicle on 6th Street. Hocking was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle and for not having insurance on his vehicle.

MONROE — On June 4:
● Bradford J. Brush, 37, Albany, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a rollover crash reported at 4:36 p.m. in the N5100 block of County E, Town of Albany. He was southbound when he reported he swerved to miss a raccoon. He lost control of the vehicle, entered the ditch and overturned. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Albany EMS assisted deputies on scene. Brush was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.
● Curtia S. M. Sails, 30, Sun Prairie, and her two passengers, a 7-year-old and a 15-year-old, sustained non-life threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash reported at 7:23 p.m. in the N5800 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. She was northbound near Gutzmer Road when she reported she swerved to miss a deer. She lost control of the vehicle, which exited the road and hit a culvert, then an embankment and wooden post. Sails and her passengers were transported by New Glarus EMS to Monroe Clinic ER for treatment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. It was towed. Sails was cited for driving without a valid license, no vehicle insurance and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
On June 7:
● An ATV rollover accident was reported at 5:51 p.m. on the Tri-County trail near Franklin Road in rural Browntown. One person was transported by EMS to a hospital with an arm injury.

DARLINGTON — On May 24:
● Marie E. Freese, 29, Fitchburg, reported hitting a deer at 10:03 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. No injuries were reported. The 2000 Plymouth sustained moderate damage. It was driven from the scene.
On May 27:
● Linda K. Dubler, 69, Dubuque, Iowa, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident reported at 10:56 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg. She was eastbound when she experienced a medical emergency, causing her 2018 Subaru to leave the road, hit a fence, roll over and come to rest on its wheels. She was transported by ambulance to a hospital. The Subaru sustained severe damage and was towed. A deputy and Southwest Health EMS assisted the Shullsburg Fire Department and Shullsburg EMS on scene.
On May 29:
● Brian K. Arnold, 56, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 1:40 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. His 2016 Mazda sustained minor damage.
● Brenda M. Toj-Sajcap, 35, Shullsburg, was eastbound on Bethel Grove Road/County F, Town of Kendall, at about 6:30 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve and entered the ditch. Her 2005 Dodge Stratus sustained severe damage and was towed. She was cited for driving without a valid license, failure to notify police of an accident and no vehicle insurance.
On May 30:
● Sarah R. Belsky, 21, Verona, reported hitting a deer at 12:42 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. Her 2010 Ford sustained minor damage.
● An ATV accident with injuries was reported on the Cheese Country Trail at 8:53 p.m. on Sargent Road, Town of Wayne. Steven A. Steiner, 27, Browntown, was driving his 1998 Honda ATV near Sargent Road when he lost control, causing the ATV to exit the trail and roll over. His passenger, Alysha M. Snell, 20, Mount Horeb, was transported to a hospital with injuries. Steiner left the scene. Alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors but no charges are yet filed. The South Wayne Fire Department, South Wayne First Response, Green County Sheriff’s Office, Monroe Police Department and Green County EMS assisted on scene. The accident remains under investigation.
On May 31:
● No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 3:43 a.m. on County E, Town of Darlington. Jerlin M. Lopez-Aguirrez, 24, Shullsburg, was southbound on County E when he fell asleep while driving, causing his vehicle to exit the road. He then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll over. He was cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control, inattentive driving and driving without a license. The 2002 Chevrolet, owned by Juana A. Roquez-Aguirre, 44, Shullsburg, sustained severe damage and was towed. Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene.
● Adam C. Hanson, 45, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 7:50 a.m. on Old Q Road, Town of Argyle. His 2018 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
On June 1:
● Amy M. Kahler, 36, Dubuque, reported hitting a deer at 5:54 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her 2014 Chrysler sustained severe damage. It was towed.
On June 2:
● Norrie M. Rieffer, 25, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:40 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. The 1998 Ford sustained minor damage.
